Kuching (28/11/05) ~Day 5~

This is a part of Gunung Santubong.. and the beach..

Blue beach and blue sky..

Before going to beach, this are our foods. We prepare it ourselves wor.

The proud parrot in Holiday Inn Resort of Damai Lagoon.

Outlook of the resort. Nice, right?

One of our dinner. Special food called paku-pakis or bilin. Taste like kangkung.

We wake up early today for preparing foods to Damai Lagoon. Yeah!! We having a hotel stay. Long journey to the beach. Nearly fall asleep in the car. The resort that we stayed was not very expensive for 6 of us - RM 160 per night. Moreover, there was near to Sarawak Cultural Village. The weather was hot. We only going to beach about 3pm. Kayak in the beach, about RM 20 per boat (two person). Quite fun!! Having a great time at beach, next station - swimming pool. Having a seafood dinner then. All are tired and sleep in the early morning (coz playing cards games).

Special Incident: When the time we wanna pay the bill of our dinner, the waiter took the wrong bill to the foreigner that sit the next table of us. We don't know and keep waiting for bill. After we asked, the workers only realized they making mistake. The foreigner should will feel very happy coz they order red wine but the bill is not over RM 100. But, lucky we not pay for them. Haha..

Kuching (27/11/05) ~Day 4~

Sunday market. A big market for the orang asli to sell things. Variety of things there.

Laksa Sarawak. Look like Curry Mee of Penang. Our breakfast.

Another breakfast. This food called "Bai Guo Gan", food of Fu Zhou people.

The oldest orang utan in Matang wildlife - Aman, 28 years old.

Another orang utan, Lena - 8 years old.

The youngest and manja orang utan, Doris - 5 years old.

Nice river outside Matang wildlife.

Our dinner!! Nice mutton!!

Fetch HuiLing today also. She just will joining us start from day 4. Having lunch at Agnes's home. Her mummy treat us a great lunch and desserts too. You may wondering why the orang utan are in the cage.. actually they will be free at day. But when the time we arrive Matang wildlife, the visit time is late. After we beg for many times, the people who in charge let us have a visit of the orang utan. The time we visit was dinner time, so they are in cage.

Special incident: I lost my sunglasses in Sunday market. Haiz.. I'm such of careless people. So sad.

Hehe.. If you have friends there is better, coz he/she can take you go for delicious foods. Coz travel agent may didn't bring you there.
