Kuching Day 6 and 7

Kuching (30/11/05) ~Day7~

I'm trying on pottery molding with my messy hair.. Haha!! Here are free to try.

Agnes and me in the pottery shop. See those pottery behind us, nice and costly too.

I took this photo secretly in the museum negeri. =P That's the tallest statue (I think so) of orang asli.

Another secret photo taking. Coz the seashells too beautiful.

Ready to The Junk. We are: HueyLing, EvaBee, Anthea, Agnes, Milan and SiekTing.

This is the upstairs of The Junk. Nice environment for yam cha.

Three of us - Agnes, Milan and Anthea.

Who are they? Three pretties: SiekTing, EvaBee and HueyLing.

This is my drink, Magarita. It is a cocktail that mixed of Tequilla and Lime.

Another cocktail, Capirina in the glass milk bottle.

Our dinner: Borneo Seafood Basket. Inside the "basket", they are: fried soft shelf crab, french fries, fried fish+prawn, salad.

Buying some souveniors in the pottery shop. I also bought the small pottery. The pottery inside are cost from RM 2 - RM 100++, depends on the size and design. Just like me, you have a try on pottery modling beside the pottery shop. It's free and fun!! Besides the museum, there are one free entry small aquarium. You also can have a look on those fishes. There is one special thing is there having more than hundred years grave. wow~ the government had beauty the place to become a garden.

Special place that recommend: The Junk. This restaurant is small but it used more than RM 100 thousand for shop's renovation and decoration. According to Agnes, the everything is bought from overseas. The environment is not just suitable for couple but also friends. When we walked in, they having france's songs. But for sure, the foods and drinks are expensive.

Special Incidents: I feel drunk after I drink a half cup of Magarita. So, I only drink three quater of the cocktail. Mmm.. I'm not that good in drink. =P

Kuching (30/11/05) ~Day 6~

This the outlook of the Sarawak Cultural Village.

The cultural dance and show of every races of orang asli.

I forgot which races that present this show. But the guy really spinning very fast and steady. Wow.. really a good show!!

Blowing pipe (I think I named it correctly) show. The guy was aiming the belon above the audience. Cool~

We are in Iban's house with Iban guy.

We and Orang Ulu and the instrument - sape. The music really nice.. I like it!!

Going up to Melanau's house. High wor~~ But comparing to Orang Ulu's house, it is not so high lor!!!

We played bamboo stick games. Ouch.. watch out of my feet!!

Famous Kuey Chap there. The taste like Bat Kut Teh.

We take this photo in Agnes's house. Having a small birthday celebration for Agnes's father.

The people in cultural village are orang asli. But some of them will be looking down on Malaysian. They will be only bother the foreigner like showing their dance performance. If you are Malaysian, please always follow the foreigner, then you will be having chance to see anything different when visit every race's house. I was really excited because all this cannot be seen in the city.

Special Incidents: All sleep late and wake up late. We all rushed for the cultural show. Luckily, we arrive at time. While visiting the Chinese's house, there was one orang asli wearing cheongsam. More surprisingly, she can spoke Hokkien and her idol is Andy Lau. Wow~ Andy Lau having many fans wor..!! At night, we celebrate Agnes's father birthday. Her father bring all of us went to have some delicious foods. When we all arrived at the shop, everyone is looking at us. They must be thinking this uncle so geng.. He having 7 daughter and 1 son. Hahaha.. We bought chocolate chess cake from Coffee Bean. Tasty. But we all can't finished. So, we played some "heart-attack" games to finish the cake. Sleep at 4am.
